The girls Region 5A game vs. Parkston has officially been moved to Saturday at 3:00 pm in Parkston.
Congrats to Emalea Nelson on a Superior rating on her instrumental piece and to Jayce Heezen and Stephanie Aulner who were awarded an Excellent on their duet on Monday. Great Job girls!
Hanson will host Platte-Geddes on Tuesday in Region 5A Girls basketball. The game time has been moved up to a 5:00 p.m. start because of the weather forecast. Ticket prices for Region games are set by the SDHSAA at $6 for adults and $4 for students. Season Passes will not be accepted for admission.

The boys basketball schedule for the games in Chamberlain on Tuesday night is being adjusted. There will now be NO C-GAME. The JV game will now start at 5:00 pm and the varsity game with follow at 6:15 pm.

The Hanson seniors had a great day visiting the capital in Pierre on Wednesday and getting an up close look at our state government in action. Thanks to Governor Noem and Lieutenant Governor Rhoden for taking the time to take a picture with our seniors.

Congrats to the PEH gymnastics team for qualifying for the state meet in Aberdeen. The girls placed 3rd in regions as a team. Lilly and Sophie Bahmuller represent Hanson as part of the PEH gymnastics team. Good luck girls!
The deadline to turn in candygrams is WEDNESDAY, FEB. 8. Anyone needing candygram forms can pick them up in the HS office or the elementary office or from Mrs. Alley, Mrs. Wallace.

This Thursday night the junior class will be hosting a soup supper during the MVP double header in the Multi Purpose room. Chilli, Potato, and Chicken Wild Rice will be served. We will also be recognizing our GBB and BBB seniors between the varsity games that night.
The Bridgewater-Emery boosters will be having a Walking Taco Meal Friday night at our GBB/BBB double header starting at 4:30.
