We are seeking out anyone in the community who may have instruments at home that are not being used, and are willing to give to the school whether it be donated or sold to the school. Congratulations to our High School Varsity Quiz Bowl team of Erin Dewald, Gage Mentele, Paige Endorf, and Riley Haynes for bringing home first place in the Cornbelt Conference Quiz Bowl on Monday held in Irene. The Student Theme for Tuesday night's SODAK 16 game in Madison is "Hawaiian/Beach". Adult theme is to wear Navy. The cheerleader bus will leave the school parking lot at 5:10 pm and lead a caravan to Madison for anyone who wants to join. Game time is 7:00 pm. With a win on Tuesday night over Wagner, the Hanson boys basketball team with play Platte-Geddes in Platte at 7:00 pm on Friday March 3rd for a chance to advance to the SODAK 16.
Hanson will host Wagner in a Boys Basketball Region 5A game on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00 pm. Season passes will not be honored for this game. Admission prices are set by the SDHSAA at: Adults $6; Students $4.

Hanson will host Platte-Geddes on Tuesday in Region 5A Girls basketball. The game time has been moved up to a 5:00 p.m. start because of the weather forecast. Ticket prices for Region games are set by the SDHSAA at $6 for adults and $4 for students. Season Passes will not be accepted for admission.
