On Friday night the Alexandria Fire Department will be hosting a tailgate before the game serving Chili and hotdogs. Free will donation. Come out before the game and support the fire department.
Little Tikes will be hosting the tailgate tonight serving Footlongs/Chili Dogs & Chips (Free Will Donation) for the football game vs. Viborg-Hurley. They will begin serving at 6:00 and run through half time.
The Dakota Dreams online tutoring program is offering free online tutoring to K-12 students in South Dakota in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. The program is staffed by university students from BHSU and NSU accepted into their schools of education. Students and tutors can connect for virtual tutoring sessions. Parents will need to register their students to use the platform.

Trunk or Treat!
The Hanson National Honor Society is looking for individuals and businesses that would like to give out candy during family-friendly trunk or treating on Alexandria’s Main Street on Sunday, October 30th. Those interested should call the school at 605-239-4387 to talk to Yolanda Price or Lori Reitzel. Any business unable to participate but would still like to donate candy to be given away is encouraged to contact the school as well for pick-up/delivery arrangements.
Today's (Monday's) JV Football Game with Garretson has been canceled. The JH game will still be held at 4:00 as scheduled.

Congrats to the cross country teams for their success in the Cornbelt Conference XC meet on Wednesday. The girls were conference champions and the boys team placed 2nd. Congrats to Taziah Hawkins for winning the individual championship. Great job to all!
