On Friday, February 14, the Parkston-Ethan-Hanson-Mount Vernon gymnastics team competed in the team competition at the State Gymanstics Meet in Watertown.
Estelline-Hendricks placed first overall in the team competition while PEHMV placed second and Deuel finished in third place.
The individual competition of the state meet took place on Saturday, February 15. Results for the individual competition were as follows: VAULT: Piper Reichert, seventh (8.8500); Addison Duba, ninth (8.7833); Lily Bahmuller, 11th (8.7167); Rory Juhnke, 13th (8.6667); Claire Sommer, 28th (8.400); BARS: Juhnke, seventh (8.700); Duba, eighth (8.6833); Reichert, 14th (8.3333); Sommer, 20th (8.1333); Bahmuller, 24th (8.0167); BEAM: Duba, second (9.2833); Juhnke, fifth (9.033); Sommer, 21st (8.1500); Anna Weber, 24th (8.0167); Carlie Hobbick, 38th (6.9500); FLOOR: Duba, sixth (9.3667); Juhnke, seventh (9.2000); Bahmuller, 24th (8.6500); ALL-AROUND: Duba, fourth (36.1166); Juhnke, seventh (35.6000).
