The Parkston-Ethan-Hanson gymnastics team captured the Region 2A title at Wagner on Friday, February 7. PEH scored 139.625 followed by Chamberlain in second place (130.850) and Hot Springs in third (130.850). 

The PEH individual placings were as follows: BARS: Rory Juhnke, second (8.900); Addison Duba, fourth (8.525); Piper Reichert, fifth (8.450); Claire Sommer, sixth (8.175); Lily Bahmuller, ninth (8.000); BEAM: Sommer, fourth (8.800); Duba, fifth (8.775); Anna Weber, sixth (8.700);  Carlie Hobbick, eighth (8.075); FLOOR: Duba, second (9.575); Juhnke, third (9.125); Bahmuller, eighth (8.475); VAULT: Reichert, second (8.975); Duba, third (8.950); Juhnke, fourth (8.900); Bahmuller, fifth (8.875); Hobbick, sixth (8.800); ALL AROUND: Duba, second (35.825); Juhnke, fourth (34.825); Sommer, fifth (33.125).

Individual qualifiers for the state meet were: Duba, bars, floor, vault, beam; Juhnke, bars, floor, vault, beam; Sommer: bars, beam, vault; Bahmuller: floor, vault, bars; Hobbick: floor, vault, beam; Weber, beam; Reichert, vault, bars. 

The PEH gymnasts team will compete at the State Gymnastics Meet in Watertown on Friday, February 14, with the team competition and the individual state qualifiers will compete in the individual competition on Saturday, February 15.
