Lake Hanson and
the Emery Pool are looking for lifeguards this summer!
- If you are interested
in life-guarding at Lake Hanson, contact Tom Bell or Ed
Henningsen at Security State Bank for more information.
- The Emery Pool is looking for certified lifeguards as well as Water
Safety Instructors (WSI). Why should you work for the pool? Working
at the pool is an extremely flexible job that is a great first job for
anyone. If you enjoy working with kids then being a Water Safety
Instructor (WSI) is an excellent way to earn money doing something you
love. Water Safety Instuctors receive $1.00 more per hour on top of your
regular lifeguard wages. Also, the City of Emery will reimburse for
the full cost of the classes provided you commit to working at the pool
for 2 years. You will be reimbursed for half the cost of the classes the
first year and the rest after you complete your second year of employment.
If anyone has questions you can contact the city office.
